Hi. We're ZUZZY Miniatures and we're the manufacturer of high quality, miniature scenery for your tabletop wargames, pen & paper RPGs, scale modeling dioramas and model railroading layouts. We produce a large range of resin hills, mounds, trees, etc. And we are the makers of the Terra-Flex gaming mat, the durable rubber battlemat with a realistic sculpted surface.

Although our main focus is on 25mm, 28mm and 32mm scale figures, much of the terrain we make is suitable for use with a much larger range of scales.

Our two current product lines are The Ruined Land, an apocalyptic landscape of scorched earth and dead trees, and The Despoiled Reaches, an inhospitable land of sulfur flows and broken earth.

New Online Wargame Fanzine Reviews Moorlands Battlemat

There is a brand new wargaming fanzine online called In Sight. It's put out by the people at Two Hour Wargames, the makers of entertaining games playable in 2 hours or less. In Sight Two Hour Wargames Fanzine Issue 1 contains game reports, house rules, reviews and more. Anything and everything connected with the Two Hour Wargames line of Sci-fi, fantasy, horror, historical and sports games. And they've included a review of the ZUZZY Moorlands gaming mat in it as well. Definitely worth checking out.

We've been working hard to get our new Terra-Flex gaming mat, The Moorlands, ready. And we're getting very close now. The mold is complete and we have started production. And we're painting up the first of them to take photos for the website. Our current expected release date is May 20th.

New Lower Shipping Rates For U.S. and Canada

We now have new, lower Shipping Rates. We've changed the formula in making our gaming mats so they're a lighter weight, more flexible mat, resulting in lower shipping rates for the U.S. and Canada. International customers shipping rates won't see a change as we were already charging the lower rate. We only charge our actual cost on average for shipping, never an additional charge for an added profit.

Both the Sulfur Fields and Scourged Forest Terra-Flex battle mats are now available in a 30in x 30in size as well as the 4'x6', 4'x4', 3'x3', 2'x4' and 2'x2' sizes already available.

ZUZZY January 2008 Projects Update

A lot of people have been waiting for us to produce some type of grassy field battle mat. And we had started working on the Highlands in order to meet this need. But, Unfortunately, the Highlands mat has been delayed and won't be ready for at least a couple more months.

Fortunately, However, We are moving ahead quickly on a similar mat. The Moorlands mat, which should meet the need of providing a grassy field battlemat. Also, we have been working on a Cobblestone mat as well which will be a great playing surface for medieval towns or modern rustic villages. And many other projects are in the works as well.

We are looking forward to having a great 2008, with many new product releases to come. And we would like also to extend a sincere thank you to all of our customers who have made ZUZZY such a success. Thank you!

Due to suspicions of cheating and vote fraud the 2007 TGN Reader’s Choice Awards have been cancelled. Apparently there were some people out there using an entire lab's worth of computers to rig the voting. And then being stupid enough to brag about doing so on the internet.
